True but you’re paying for the name and the history! Most tourist attractions in Egypt are way overpriced, especially in Cairo. What is a lot to locals may not be a lot to tourists, plus people are on holiday so don’t mind spending a little more on good food! It’s also a welcome respite from the busy markets so I found it lovely. Each to their own. Sophie x

I really don’t recommend anyone to go there.
