Was wondering if u could help me find the best ride on the go bus may 19 from 6th of October in cairo to gouna. Returning 23 of May. I need comfort as I am older . Also, I was told the trip was only 5 hours. Would love to hear back. Cheers

In reply to Marek. Hi Marek, From memroy the Cairo to Luxor bus is during the day and is very comfortable. If you book an overnight bus I would book a luxury one to get nice seats that go back :) Safe journey! Sophie x

Hello ! What about night trips from Cairo to Luxor ? Is it safe ? Can I sleep with no worries ? I will be travelling with children… How many days before departure should I buy tickets to secure seats ?

In reply to Ayumita. Hi Ayumita, I love the front seats during the day but for me I find the lights on the road really distracting at night. From memory, there are curtains on the bus. For room, it would be a little roomier than the normal seats :) Hope this helps! Thanks, Sophie x

In reply to Amanda Tapp. Go bus is an awful means of transport, unsafe drivers who are unmannered and deal with passengers in bad way and don't differentiate between the time where to drive off ladies. Really it is the second bad experience that I won't repeated.

Hello, thank you for such detailed review, very useful! Can I ask if it’s actually comfortable to book the very front seats for a long journey, like overnight bus from Luxor to Cairo. It had an advantage but this leg area looks a little tight from the photos, if you have experienced the very front seat, could you tell me how you found it? Thanks a lot in advance!
