Thanks so much for this, to be fair I was on a time limit and had no idea about Hongphoi! Will definitely have to go back and visit to see more. ohh, for foreigners though, I believe there were only two I heard of but that’s great that there are more for people to stay in. Hongphoi village does have the folks wearing the necklaces and mostly roaming in their usual traditional gear. It also has the highest number of face tattooed men in one village. A perfect day trip from Mon town. Also a couple of Homestays in Longwa are other options, and cheaper where you get to experience the life of a family in Longwa.
